Lisa Trickett, MA, LPC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor & Clinical Supervisor
Welcome! Life's challenges can sometimes leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life we want to live. Having the right support can make all the difference. My counseling style is warm, interactive, and nonjudgmental. I believe every person deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, sensitivity, and empathy. For more than a decade, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life's most difficult experiences. I specialize in trauma and am passionate about helping people move beyond survival and toward a life marked by greater connection, confidence, and fulfillment. I also believe healing extends beyond the individual, and I value the role that relationships, family systems, and community support can play in creating meaningful and lasting growth.
While I bring professional knowledge and expertise to the counseling relationship, I also believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you who you should be or how you should live. Instead, I provide an environment where you can openly explore your fears, concerns, struggles, and hopes while gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and the direction you want to take. I use a strength based approach that integrates mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, trauma informed, humanistic, solution focused, and narrative approaches. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or problems, I work with clients to identify their existing strengths, develop new insights, and create lasting change that aligns with their values and goals.
I grew up in Texas and relocated to Colorado in 2014, where I quickly fell in love with the mountains and outdoor lifestyle. Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, spending time in nature, and making memories with the people I care about most.
.Choosing to begin counseling takes courage. If you are ready to invest in yourself and the life you want to create, I would be honored to support you in that process. You deserve to feel heard, respected, understood, and empowered to become the best version of yourself. I look forward to learning more about you.
