Healing has taught me the importance of loving myself, loving others, and embracing life with greater compassion and understanding. We all face challenges, pain, and difficult seasons, but I believe there is strength within each of us to move through those experiences and create meaningful growth. Choosing to pursue therapy is not a sign of weakness. It is an act of courage. It takes strength to confront difficult emotions, examine patterns that may no longer serve us, and commit to creating positive change. I view counseling as an opportunity to reconnect with yourself and discover new ways of navigating life's experiences. Healing looks different for everyone, and there is no single path that works for all people. Together, we can explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and relationships while identifying approaches that support your personal goals and well being. I believe therapy can help bring greater balance between the mind, body, and spirit while creating space for growth, self understanding, and healing.
I believe there is hope even in life's most difficult moments. No matter what challenges you may be facing, you do not have to face them alone. There is strength in healing, beauty in growth, and light that can be found even in the shadows. My approach is rooted in empathy, kindness, respect, and compassion. I believe people deserve to be met with understanding, especially during life's most difficult moments. Through counseling, we can work toward developing healthier ways of responding to challenges, building self confidence, strengthening relationships, and creating a life that feels more fulfilling and aligned with who you want to be.
I grew up on the Navajo Nation, where I was raised traditionally by both my parents and grandparents. My upbringing continues to shape my values, perspective, and appreciation for culture, family, and connection. I later moved away to pursue higher education with the hope of one day bringing the knowledge and experience I have gained back to my community. More recently, my spouse's military career brought us to Colorado, where I have enjoyed discovering the beauty of the mountains, forests, and open night skies. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, listening to music, spending time outdoors, and visiting family whenever I have the opportunity. You will often find a book nearby, with genres ranging from romance and mystery to adventure, accompanied by a playlist that may include anything from Taylor Swift to Fleetwood Mac.
I look forward to getting to know you.
