Life does not always unfold the way we expect it to. Challenges, setbacks, and difficult experiences can leave us feeling discouraged, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what comes next. During those times, it can be difficult to see a clear path forward. My passion is helping people navigate those moments while reconnecting with their strengths, values, and capacity for growth. I also believe meaningful relationships play an important role in our well being. Healthy connections can provide support, encouragement, and a sense of belonging, while challenges within relationships often affect many areas of our lives. I enjoy helping clients strengthen these connections while also developing a deeper trust in themselves and their own abilities.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client centered. I believe each person brings unique experiences, strengths, and perspectives into the counseling process. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing, identify what may be getting in the way of your goals, and develop practical steps toward creating the life you want to live. I often incorporate solution focused approaches that help clients recognize existing strengths while building confidence in their ability to move forward. My passion for this work was shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Growing up around mental health professionals and witnessing the impact they had on others sparked my interest in the field at an early age. My own experiences with adversity further strengthened my belief that difficult circumstances do not have to define us. Some of our greatest growth can emerge from the moments that challenge us most, and it is a privilege to support clients as they discover their own capacity to move through life's obstacles.
I grew up in rural Missouri and continue to appreciate the values of hard work, connection, and finding balance in everyday life. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, exploring new places, cooking, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks. These activities help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of making space for both growth and enjoyment in life.
Every person faces challenges, but no one has to face them alone. My hope is to help you recognize your strengths, find your footing, and move toward the future you want to create.
