Cassandra "Cassie" Salinas, MA, LMFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Clinical Supervisor & Practice Support Lead (On Site)
Relationships are some of the most meaningful parts of our lives, but they can also be some of the most challenging. Whether you are experiencing conflict with a partner, struggling within family relationships, processing past hurts, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others, it can be difficult to know how to move forward. During those times, having support can make all the difference. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe our relationships influence the way we experience ourselves and the world around us. My passion is helping individuals, couples, and families better understand the patterns that shape their relationships while creating opportunities for deeper connection, healthier communication, and lasting growth.
My work is strongly influenced by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence based approach that helps people understand the emotions, needs, and attachment patterns that drive relationship dynamics. Often, the conflicts we experience are not simply about the surface issue at hand, but about our deeper desire to feel understood, valued, connected, and emotionally safe with the people who matter most. I especially enjoy working with couples and helping partners navigate communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, life transitions, and the everyday challenges that arise in long term relationships. Relationships thrive when people feel seen, understood, and connected. Whether you are looking to strengthen a partnership, improve family relationships, or better understand yourself within the context of your relationships, I would be honored to support you in that process. I also enjoy supporting individuals and families as they work through relational struggles and build stronger, healthier connections with themselves and others. I believe every relationship has the potential for growth when people are given the opportunity to better understand themselves and one another.
I am the proud mother of three busy boys and have been happily married for many years. Family plays a central role in my life and continues to shape both my personal values and my work as a therapist. My experiences as a wife, mother, and clinician have deepened my appreciation for the complexity, beauty, and importance of the relationships we build throughout our lives.
