Alysia Englert, BA
Student Intern- Master of Arts in Sport and Performance Psychology
I see therapy as a place to explore, to notice, and to gently return to what matters most. I draw from a holistic perspective with mindfulness and acceptance at the center of my work. I invite curiosity about thoughts and emotions while holding space for the values that guide us forward.
Rather than striving for perfection or control, I believe growth often comes from making room for the full range of our experiences and learning to live with greater openness and intention. My diverse experiences in the military, music, and sport and performance psychology have shaped my perspective on perseverance, adaptability, and personal growth—lessons I bring into both my personal life and my work as a counselor.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring creative outlets, and staying active. I have one cat, Zora, and continue to serve in the Army Reserve. I look forward to walking alongside clients with curiosity, openness, and support as they grow.
